Do you feel anxious or sad but not sure why sometimes? Maybe you feel overwhelmed by life or stuck in an old pattern. Do you find it difficult to change this pattern and wonder why?

Perhaps talking about it could help?

In exploring your thoughts and feelings with a professional counsellor and psychotherapist, easing the way forward could be possible.

What once started out as helping people from the Swedish community to feel settled and adjusted in their move to the UK, has now expanded to providing safe, confidential psychotherapy and counselling on a wide range of difficulties for all nationalities.

I work with adult individuals, providing ongoing weekly in-depth psychotherapy in West London. I also practice weekly counselling, which is shorter and last for an agreed time period only. I will listen with empathy and provide guidance with the aim of enabling you to live your life more fully. I believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is important and we will move at a pace that feels right for you. When you are ready to move forward, you will have my support.

My approach

My approach as a counsellor and psychotherapist is Psychodynamic, drawing from the unconscious processes of the psyche along with looking at how patterns in our past behaviours may influence the way we act in the present. Many factors from our varying experiences as children can form how we choose to deal with challenges and situations we are faced with as adults. The goals of my practise is to develop a client’s self-awareness and to provide clarity as to why we feel and behave the way we do.

Together, we will explore and make sense of thoughts and feelings that have occurred throughout different periods of life. With our interpretation of these, many links can be made to piece together understanding of particular issues you have encountered or are currently facing. With an enhanced understanding, the way forward will be made easier. Through increased self-awareness and insight, you are in a better position to make closer and more authentic relationships with others, whilst increasing your self-esteem as a result.

Special intrest & experience

Having been a highly qualified psychotherapist and counsellor for 20 years, I have vast experience in counselling people of all nationalities, exploring many cultural differences.

Perhaps you have moved countries or not, living in London’s hustle can be unsettling at times. Life in a city can be exciting as well as daunting, making it easy to feel overwhelmed or alone and at loss of where to start. Therapy can help to make things a little bit easier.

I am working with individuals, providing both open-ended and short-term psychotherapy. I offer a free phone call up to 20 minutes where we can see how I can best be of your help. I will effectively guide you in making your own choices, but I will not tell you what to say or how to act.
